Dan & Veronica’s Wedding – Banff Springs Hotel
Posted on October 28, 2013
Leaving Calgary with a fully loaded van, including a photo booth and uplighting and heading to Banff can make for a long day at the best of times. When you hit heavy traffic from the moment you leave the city all the way to the Banff exit, and then down Banff Avenue, your day gets even longer. So I was all nerves when we finally made it to the Central Park Gazebo in Banff. Thankfully our setup went smoothly and we were ready to go with time to spare before the start of the ceremony.
After the ceremony was complete – and I took a few moments to breath – we headed over to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel to set up in the Alhambra Room. We provided uplighting around the room to show off the domed ceilings. We also set up a photo booth in the cocktail lounge for guests to enjoy both before and after dinner. And of course we provided sound for both the dance as well as toasts and speeches. Extra speakers were brought in to fill sound at the end of the room furthest from the dance floor to ensure that every single one of the guests could hear the speeches with crystal clarity.
The reception started off with a rousing Hora before dinner. After dinner we cranked up the dance floor and guests of all ages got up and had a great time!
